Giveaway terms

These terms apply to every giveaway run by Ink & Apple or any of its brands, on our website, by email or on social media, unless the post for a giveaway says otherwise. Each giveaway post gives the dates, the prize and how to enter.

Who can enter

Open to legal residents of Canada, excluding Quebec, who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory when they enter. Employees of the sponsor and the people they live with can't enter.

No purchase necessary

You don't need to buy anything to enter or win, and buying something won't improve your chances.

How to enter

Follow the steps in the giveaway post before it closes. One entry per person unless the post says otherwise. Entries made with bots, scripts or fake accounts will be removed.

Picking the winner

The winner is picked at random from all eligible entries received during the entry period, on or around the date in the post. Your odds depend on how many eligible entries we receive.

Before being declared a winner, the person picked must correctly answer a math skill-testing question without help.

Contacting the winner

We'll contact the winner by direct message or email. If we don't hear back within 7 days, or the person picked doesn't meet these terms, we may pick another winner.

The prize

The prize is described in the giveaway post. It can't be exchanged for cash or transferred. If a prize becomes unavailable, we may swap it for one of equal or greater value. The winner may be asked to sign a short declaration and release before the prize is sent.

Social media

Our giveaways are not sponsored, endorsed or run by Instagram, Facebook, TikTok or any other platform. By entering you release those platforms from any responsibility for the giveaway.

Your information

We use entrants' information only to run the giveaway and contact the winner, as set out in our privacy policy.

Changes

If a giveaway can't run as planned because of fraud, technical problems or anything else outside our control, we may change, pause or cancel it.

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
